Nari Jibon school provides classes in computers (common applications and graphics, repair and setup), English, tailoring, Bangla, and business set up and operation. These classes are open to women workers, students, housewives, and women seeking new skills and alternative work. In turn, the school seeks to provide a bridges and links to work where women can use these skills in NGOs, offices, businesses, tailoring shops, and other settings. Our students have found jobs in offices, NGOs, tailoring, and/or set up their own businesses.  There is also a women's only cybercafe.

Recipient of a Rising Voices grant, Ward and colleagues have facilitated the blogging of Nari Jabon participants, which you can check out here.  Ward's own blog may be found here.
