MIT’s Program in Science, Technology, and Society invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position in the history of science and technology in the modern period at the level of assistant or associate professor. The area of study is open. The start date is open, and the promotion schedule is flexible. Graduate and undergraduate teaching and advising are expected. Interest in establishing scholarly connections at MIT beyond the STS Program is desirable. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent and must be able to demonstrate excellence in research and teaching.
