Just with our table there was an "apple side" and a "windows side". How do we have a device that people can use intuitively that will bridge between the different support?
Is the user being considered in the design of technology? Kind of. Performance is not the only aspect of humanity to consider though. What about privacy, social connectivity, happiness, physical activity, etc...?

physicality is missing - hitting the computer won't make it faster. ubicomp will evolve rapidly and fit into our lives, and people will continue to make up stories in order to understand them (put ipod in freezer, etc...).
these stories don't have any physical proof necessarily.
